Seems like a better idea than selling it. Probably because I was a fan of the older games.) I wouldn't mind at all if it were to be released for free at some point. Don't know why I preordered the game, I never do that. Now, speaking as someone who has that map, (For some reason. "Here's another dev who sells worthless DLC and does microtransactions." Right now, AoW stands out because the DLC has so much stuff in it. If they released it, they'd look like greedy money-grubbers. I mean, it's not a bad scenario, but not nearly as much fun as "Taming of the Great Khan" to name one example. But because it's one single - rather unimaginative - map. Not because it's a "preorder exclusive" or anything. I think it would be a bad move to release it as DLC. Why would any dev want to not let thier fan base play the content they worked create? Dont get me wrong, I understand rewarding people that supporting the game early but why dose the content need to be permentinlty locked away? Seems like a big ♥♥♥♥ you to new players and fans that miss the chance. Why should it stay exclusive though? Plenty of time has passed what would it hurt to let people who missed or even new fans enjoy all the content? The content in question is a single player scenro why do you give a damn if onther people want to play it? Do you really get a hard on about having exclusive content for the game? Exclusives should be limited time only, or not at all. Dunno about you, but keeping promises is a good point in my book. Otherwise of course it's fair game.Īnd how would that be sadly? It's keeping a promise made a year before the game's release - a promise to all pre-ordering people that they would get it exclusively. Nguyên văn bởi jaccovandorpGloweye:well, that means a lot of dev's are lying about the term "exclusive".
